Fragrance-free means no perfume in the ingredient list. On a label perfume shows up as Parfum or Fragrance, as essential oils, and often as named allergens like Limonene and Linalool that brands have to declare in the EU.

We can't tell if Colgate Luminous white is fragrance-free. It lists Aroma, a flavouring that can carry scent. Brands use it in lip and oral care; the label does not say whether it smells of anything.

Benzyl Alcoholi Alcohol Benc0lico is a preservative that can also carry scent; on its own it does not make a product fragranced.
