What this site is
Skincare Check reads publicly available ingredient lists and reports whether they contain ingredients from a few well-defined groups. It is an information tool, not medical, dermatological or allergy advice. If you have a medical condition or a known allergy, check the pack yourself and ask a professional.
Accuracy
Ingredient lists come from the Open Beauty Facts community database and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Formulas change between countries and over time. We show the date we last checked each record and we mark uncertain cases as “not sure”, but we cannot guarantee that any page is correct. Always read the label on the product you hold.
Data licence
Product data is used under the Open Database License (ODbL) with attribution to Open Beauty Facts; product images are used under CC BY-SA 3.0. Brand names and packaging belong to their owners and appear here only to identify products.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a verdict shown here.
