What it does

Tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes is the label name for Iso E Super, one of the most used molecules in modern perfumery. It gives a velvety woody background and appears on cosmetic labels when a brand lists it separately from Parfum.

CosIng lists it as perfuming. It is fully synthetic and is not one of the declared fragrance allergens, so on its own it affects none of the six checks.
