What it does

Sodium bicarbonate is a mild alkaline mineral salt. Natural deodorants use it to neutralise the acids in sweat odour, toothpaste uses it as a gentle abrasive and bath bombs use it to fizz. CosIng lists it as abrasive, buffering, deodorant and oral care.

It is a mineral and affects none of the six checks.
