What it does
Polysorbate 20 is sorbitol joined to lauric acid and ethylene oxide. It lets a toner, micellar water or mouthwash carry scent and oils without turning cloudy. CosIng lists it as emulsifying and cleansing surfactant.
The lauric acid is normally from coconut. It affects none of the six checks.
