What it does

Kaolin, or china clay, is a mineral clay mined from the ground and washed. It soaks up oil, gives clay masks their texture, mattifies powders and thickens toothpaste. CosIng lists it as absorbent, abrasive, anticaking, bulking and opacifying.

It is a mineral and affects none of the six checks.
