What it does
Isopropyl palmitate is palmitic acid joined to isopropyl alcohol. The result is an oil that feels dry and spreads fast, common in body lotions, foundations, deodorant sticks and pre-shave oils. CosIng lists it as emollient and binding.
Its palmitic acid can come from palm oil or animal fat and the label does not say which, so on its own it leaves the vegan answer at not sure. It is not a drying alcohol.
