What it does
Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, known as octinoxate, absorbs UVB light and is a liquid that mixes easily into lotions, sprays and lip balms. CosIng lists it in Annex VI as a UV filter with a maximum concentration.
It is synthetic and affects none of the six checks.
