What it does

CI 47005 is a water-soluble quinoline dye known in the US as D&C Yellow No. 10. It gives a greenish yellow colour and is often paired with a blue dye to make green shampoos and shower gels.

CosIng lists it as a colorant permitted in the EU with restrictions on eye products. It is synthetic and affects none of the six checks.
