What it does

Butane is one of the three liquefied gases, with propane and isobutane, that pressurise most cosmetic aerosols. It evaporates the moment the product leaves the can and does not stay on the skin. CosIng lists it as a propellant.

It comes from petroleum gas and affects none of the six checks.
