What it does

Bisabolol is extracted from chamomile or from the candeia tree, or made synthetically. It has a faint sweet floral smell and sits in aftershaves, baby creams and products aimed at reactive skin. CosIng lists it as skin conditioning and soothing.

It is not on the EU list of declared fragrance allergens. It is plant-derived or synthetic and affects none of the six checks.
