What it does

Alumina is a fine mineral powder. It coats titanium dioxide and other pigments so they disperse evenly, adds a soft slip to powders and appears in some toothpaste as a gentle abrasive. CosIng lists it as abrasive, absorbent, anticaking, bulking and opacifying.

It is a mineral and affects none of the six checks.
